5 Steps for Relief Computer Eye Strain

 

Computer fatigue syndrome is a condition where our bodies are put under strain by prolonged computer use. It's possible that your eyes become tired and you will find it harder to focus. This can lead to lower performance in your work line. 

Exercising on electronics like iPads, laptops, and computers can cause tired eyes and even pain. This can lead to frustration, productivity loss, physical fatigue, and increased irritability. There are several ways of computer eye strain relief that everyone must follow to keep their eyes healthy.

Your workspace should be well lit. Make sure there aren't bright lights shining on surfaces in your office.

Your workspace should be set up so you can look out to the other side of the room.

To prevent irritation and dryness, blink your eyes every few seconds. Studies show that people who work on computers blink less frequently and keep their eyes open slightly wider than usual. Dry eyes can cause gritty sensations and dry eyes. To keep your eyes hydrated, remember to blink frequently.

Take a few minutes to relax. Another way to reduce eye strain, at least temporarily, is to take short breaks from staring at your computer screen. For five minutes per hour, take a break from staring at the computer screen. 

Instead, walk outside, look out the windows, or do anything else that will distract your eyes from the screen. This will reduce the chance that your eyes may "lock up" after prolonged computer use.
