I was looking around for an air purifier and came across a few decisions to make. I’ve read that air purifiers can make your air quality improve quite a bit, as well as remove harmful particles from the air. They take away things like pollen, dust, and even germs.
Of course, the air purifier has to have a UV light inside to kill the germs that are floating around. It destroys bacteria and viruses. However, one thing that concerned me is noise. I didn’t want a loud air purifier, so I looked up some things on the Internet and saw that some things are measured in decibels.
I went to http://www.damagecontrol-911.com/quiet-uv-air-purifiers/ and found out some information on decibel measurements.
Apparently, the lower the number, the quieter it is. I got one that has a night mode. Normally, it can be pretty loud. It sounds like an air conditioning unit. That’s not a terrible thing, of course, but it would bother me at night. So, I found a UV air purifier that has a night mode, as I said.
The night mode basically lowers the amount of sound output at the sacrifice of a bit of power. That doesn’t mean much, though, considering I still notice the difference of air quality even when it’s on night mode.
