It was fairly easy to assemble and the lights that turn off automatically are great. I don't like how high off of the floor it is and I don't like that when the crib mattress is in it that there is a large gap all the way around the bed that the child can easily roll into while they are sleeping (we currently have the mattress surrounded by pillows). You cannot tell this from the picture. We are also having trouble finding a twin mattress that we like that will work due to the 10 inch height allowance – we don't want the mattress to go all the way to the top of the bed rails and allow for rolling out of the bed.

This is the coolest toddler bed I have ever seen! My son absolutely loves it! Unfortunately, the site to store shipping was an issue. The box looked like it had been dropped out of an airplane, which is why I gave this 4 stars instead of 5. Luckily, Little Tikes is pretty invincible. I didn't feel like waiting even longer for the bed since site to store shipping takes so long, so my husband and I just picked up all the parts and put them in a cart and carried them to the car that way. The box was literally held together by some plastic straps. The parts to the bed were poking out and hanging out everywhere. The assembly took a long time for the bed, but it was simple enough, just time consuming. It was all worth it when we put our son in the bed and he was all smiles!
