Sometimes, while on tour, you want to pick a mode of transport that’s more than your usual method. You want something more comfortable and convenient, and sometimes, something more stylish. Here are 4 ways to travel in style this summer.
1. Vintage trains
As of 2017, travelling by vintage trains has increased in popularity. They’re not the fastest mode of transport, but are comfortable and allow you to observe the surrounding landscapes.
2. Your own car
Why not? By using your own car, you are free to travel at your own pace. You can stop for a break whenever you want, and can plan out your schedules without being dependent on public transport. This is a particularly good choice for those who wish to go sight-seeing, as you can stop by any place you wish to explore as you please.
3. Boat
Travelling by boat can be a great experience, as they serve as a change from the usual road transport. The best thing about travelling by boat is the space. You have more room to roam and can stand on the deck and enjoy the surrounding water and fresh air, rather than sitting in a cramped bus or train. They’re not necessarily expensive, either. A simple ferry can be quite cheap, perfect for a budget tourist.
4. High-speed trains
They’re efficient, comfortable, and affordable. They are also fast, ensuring that you reach your destination in time. In Europe, they are of growing popularity, and as such are perfect for, say, someone from Australia on Western Front.
These methods of transport are definitely worth considering if you ever wish to take the more stylish mode of transport.
